About me

I’ve been a licensed and registered homeopath in Tunbridge Wells since 2018. I work from my home where I have a dedicated consultation room. It’s a calm and relaxing space, and I enjoy spending time there. For me it’s the perfect place to reflect as well as work.

My experience with homeopathy has made me passionate about taking a holistic approach to health. I love meeting people and hearing their stories. Homeopathy has helped me in a way no other treatment has and I’m committed to helping others improve their health through homeopathy.

My journey

I grew up in Belfast and moved to England to go to university. Having completed a degree in languages, I took a side step into accountancy and worked for 10 years as an audit manager in a large accountancy firm in London.

I first heard about homeopathy when I was in my early thirties. After my son was stillborn I struggled to get pregnant again, as my menstrual cycle wasn’t working properly. I tried various drug treatments without success, and in a last ditch attempt went to see a homeopath. Within 6 months I was pregnant with my daughter.

I realised I was stuck in the shock and trauma of losing my son and this was why my body wasn’t functioning properly. Homeopathy helped me release some of the grief so my body could work again.

I was amazed at the effect homeopathy had on my body and from then on was hooked on finding out more!

Homeopathy education & work

I have a BSc (Honours) degree in Homeopathy from the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London (2021) and a Licentiate from the Contemporary College of Homeopathy in Bristol (2018).

I’m a registered member with the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths.

I attend regular seminars and conferences - recent ones include homeopathy for hay fever, chronic fatigue, acne and women’s health.

Other education & work

I’ve spent two years living and working in Germany - first as an au-pair, then as a language assistant in a school.

I have a Masters degree in Modern & Medieval Languages (University of Cambridge, 1997).

I’m a qualified Chartered Accountant (2001).

I've volunteered for the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) and was Treasurer of our local branch for 2 years.

I’ve helped set up and run a local breastfeeding support cafe for parents.

A bit more about me

I live in Tunbridge Wells with my husband and daughter. I feel very fortunate to have the best of both worlds on my doorstep – a vibrant town with a great selection of places to shop and eat, but also very close to beautiful countryside.

I love yoga and Pilates, and I’m passionate about baking - particularly bread and cakes. I have a huge number of books on the subject and find it hard to resist adding to my collection.  I enjoy writing in my journal and I’m always planning!

“Claire has helped me and my family on many occasions. She's realistic, pragmatic and a fantastic listener. She takes the time to get to know you properly and tailor her treatment. I'm always grateful for her support.”
